Tuesday, October 21, 2008, is a day I will never forget. That is the day that the Lord used to strengthen my walk with Him and to teach me to trust Him in ALL that I do!
On October 21, 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This type of cancer is considered to be an aggressive form of cancer, and it can be hereditary as well.
Some people may sit back and go, “Why me Lord?” Well, I didn’t do that — I guess I figured — “Why not me?” As long as we are willing vessels, God CAN use us, and I have looked upon my breast cancer journey as just that — a way for God to use me for His Glory, and my heart’s desire is to be a testimony to Him and to glorify Him through this journey He has placed me on.
